Oh Herro there, It seems as though I've dropped off the face of the earth hasn't it? Well I'm not dead just super busy moving into the apartment. (yay!) But now I'm back with an awesome backlog of posts I meant to do but couldn't find time/computer/the rest of my stuff because It's still in boxes.
A week and a half ago we got the keys to the apartment and we were excited as all hell (except for paying our first month's rent thing that sucked) But this also means that we could try to get the bedroom painted before we moved in, and I got to take some pictures of the place before all of our stuff is move in.
And this is the last time we ever saw the apartment clean empty or organized. Undeterred we made a trip to Home Depot and picked up a ton of ridiculously priced paint and made an attempt to paint our bedroom a shade of blood red. Unfortunately we completely forgot how tall our ceilings were and forgot to bring a stool or ladder so to compensate Alex decided to make a makeshift stool out of our new microwave and a trash bucket.
All the mishaps aside the color is really starting to look good especially with the white trim. Admittedly though I did very little of the actual painting ( I apparently really suck at it)
We may have a bunch more work to do bu I'm loving the Independence and its going to look awesome when were done! I will have plenty of pictures after all the decorating is finished.
